Android Proxy Configuration

To configure your Android proxy server you have to connect through a Wi-Fi connection.

On Android systems apps must opt-in to using the system HTTP proxy, this means the traffic for some apps will not be intercepted by debugProxy.

To browse HTTPS traffic, the debugProxy certificate needs to be downloaded and installed on the device.

On Android Nougat apps will not use non-system certificates by default, see the FAQ for more details.

Step 1

Go to your WiFi settings.

Press and hold down on the WiFi connection you want to set-up, until a menu appears
